For a fun night of sing-a-long and listening, try dinner at Vanessie's.
Piano bar entertainment starts about 7:30 and it doesn't stop. Talented performers Doug Montgomery and Charles Tichenor ostensibly run the program but the fun environment is driven by audience participation. At any given time people in the audience may TAKE OVER the singing, playing, dancing. It was so much fun. My daughter had raved about it, meeting old friends there, having a great evening. She was so surprised that I knew ALL the words to ALL the OLD songs. It was really a fun evening. Of course there is a tap-dancing rabbi as there is in every sing-a-long. A really enjoyable time was had by all.

Patrons can enjoy full service dining in the main room or a limited bar menu in the piano bar area. Vanessie handles the basics well. Steaks and seafood are the main attraction always prepared attentively. In the bar the hamburgers or salads go over quite well. No one leaves hungry especially when an onion loaf is part of the order.
